I have been really into drinks lately — the boozetastic and the non. For the latter, I’ve been brewing my own iced tea with lovely Mariage Frères Thé Rouge Exclusif — a posh red tea created for Baccarat. I just fill two of those mesh ball things with the loose leaves, drop them in a glass pitcher and pour over just-below-boiling water. I let it steep not much longer than five minutes, take out the tea, stir in some honey and then sit on the edge of my seat for the two-plus hours it takes to cool to room temperature before I can go to town and pour it over ice. It is slightly fruity and floral and really sets me right, as rooibos, or red tea, has relaxing properties, making it a naturally delicious way to CTFO all summer long.
